Sharjah Airport urges travellers to check flight updates to avoid inconvenience amid fog

Sharjah International Airport has called on all passengers to check the latest updates on their flights, as a number of cancellations and delays have been reported due to weather conditions in the country, stressing the importance of checking official updates to avoid inconvenience.

Earlier, the Sharjah International Airport said a number of scheduled flights had been affected due to foggy weather in the country, and travellers should avoid heading to the airport without confirming their flight status in advance.

Sharjah Airport's advisory comes as residents in some parts of the country woke up to monster fog blanketing the Emirate, reducing visibility, which can impact flight operations, ground handling, and aircraft movements.
