The Q-Mobility has announced the activation of a paid parking system in the Al Musalla neighbourhood of Al Ain, which is effective from November 17. Overseen by the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, this initiative is part of a comprehensive plan to regulate parking and improve traffic flow in the emirate.
Al Musalla project includes 1,190 public parking spaces, as well as designated spaces for people with disabilities, ensuring easy access for all users of the area.
The new system has been activated to enhance the efficiency of public parking utilisation, improve management and promote smoother traffic flow within the neighbourhood. It also supports traffic safety by reducing haphazard parking and the risks associated with it, thus contributing to a better quality of life and a more comfortable urban environment for residents and visitors alike.
Al Musalla is a vibrant residential area in Al Ain which is experiencing rapid urban and service expansion. This is accompanied by a surge in demand for parking, impacting mobility within the area. Implementing a paid parking system is a necessary step to improve the parking experience and facilitate easier access to residential and commercial buildings.
