Maysara Mahmoud Selim Eid, Engineer and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Centre for Projects and Infrastructure, has stated that guided by the vision of Abu Dhabi's leadership, they are driving the global infrastructure agenda forward.
Speaking in Ankara, Türkiye, as part of the promotional tour for the Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit 2025, he said, "Currently, we are implementing more than 600 projects valued at over $55 billion. Our portfolio spans housing, transportation, education and agricultural assets. However, our success goes beyond the numbers and lies in the impact."
He added, “In 2024 alone, we completed over 11,000 homes, creating communities and improving quality of life. Our approach is guided by a simple principle.”
As the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Hub, our goal is to translate this ambition into tangible progress.
"We oversee the entire lifecycle of strategic capital projects that embody Abu Dhabi’s vision,” he added.
He added, 'We are here in Turkey today because Abu Dhabi and Turkey both believe that infrastructure shapes our political future. We are here to exchange ideas and strengthen our partnerships. For Abu Dhabi, international cooperation is not an option.”
He explained that Türkiye stands out as a national partner on this journey, inspired by our leadership’s vision rooted in openness, learning from global experiences, sharing best practices, developing joint solutions, and driving human progress.
Maysara Eid also pointed out that Türkiye’s contribution to the global infrastructure landscape is exceptional: 45 Turkish companies are among the world’s largest international contractors. Türkiye has expertise in understanding complexity, execution and scale, and has experience in projects ranging from airports and bridges to housing and industrial zones. Its track record demonstrates how ambition can be transformed into engineering excellence.
He said, "These projects must contribute to identity, culture and a sense of belonging, in line with the UAE’s commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. At the heart of this ambition lies partnership. We believe in a model where the government’s vision and the private sector’s expertise work hand in hand."
