Emirates has announced that it is suspending its scheduled flights between Dubai and Damascus. The last flight on this route is scheduled for Nov.14, 2025, marking the end of the airline's direct services between Dubai and the Syrian capital.
An Emirates' spokesperson stated, "Emirates will suspend its scheduled flights between Dubai and Damascus (flights EK913/EK914) with effect from 15 November 2025 until further notice. This decision follows a periodic operational review aimed at optimising fleet utilisation in line with strategic business objectives."
Emirates added, "All flights scheduled after 14 November 2025 will be rebooked on flydubai flights. The airline apologises to its customers for any inconvenience caused and looks forward to resuming flights soon.”
Despite the suspension, air connectivity between Dubai and Damascus will remain via flydubai, which will continue to operate regular flights on the same route. Passengers will be able to continue their journey to Syria via flydubai flights, although advance booking is necessary due to the expected limited availability of seats following the rerouting.
