The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) has expanded transport services from key points in Sharjah, Dubai, and Ajman to facilitate visitor access to the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025), currently running at Expo Centre Sharjah until November 16.
The enhanced network includes new bus and marine routes, increased frequency, and free onward connections to ensure smooth travel to one of the region’s largest cultural events.
Two shuttle buses are operating daily from Dubai’s Al Rashidiya Bus Station and City Centre Ajman, with trips to the Expo Centre at 9:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 5:00 pm, and return services at 12:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 9:00 pm.
Visitors from Dubai can also reach the venue via the FR5 marine transport service, which connects Al Ghubaiba Marine Station to Sharjah Aquarium. Free onward trips by traditional boats then ferry passengers from the Aquarium and Al Qasba directly to Expo Centre Sharjah.
Badr Mohammed Saab, Director of Government Communications at SBA, said the expansion reflects growing attendance at SIBF and ongoing cooperation with transport authorities to improve accessibility.
Marine transport between Sharjah Aquarium and Al Ghubaiba operates throughout the week, with additional weekend services to accommodate increased demand during the fair.
