Empower marks Flag Day, renews loyalty to UAE leadership and reaffirms commitment to Union’s journey

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider, celebrated the UAE Flag Day in collaboration with the Community Development Authority (CDA) at the central courtyard of Al Hudaiba Awards Buildings. 

The event took place in a patriotic atmosphere filled with pride, honour, and a deep sense of belonging.

Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, attended the ceremony alongside the company’s senior officers and other employees.

Together, they raised the UAE flag as an expression of loyalty and devotion to the wise leadership that has made the Union a model of pride, unity, and sustainable development.

“On this glorious day, we not only raise the flag of our beloved nation, but also uphold the values of unity and generosity instilled by the founders of the Union. We renew our pledge of loyalty and devotion to the UAE and its wise leadership, which has made the nation’s pride and dignity of its people a foremost priority in all strategies and future plans. The UAE flag will forever remain a symbol of sovereignty, unity, and national pride, and a banner that unites the people of this nation in one spirit, one purpose, and one shared journey toward a bright future,” said Ahmad Bin Shafar.

“On this occasion, I am honoured to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; Their Highnesses, the Crown Princes; and to the people of the UAE and all residents of this blessed land. We celebrate Flag Day as an enduring symbol of our nation’s unity and prosperity, and a reflection of our solidarity and shared commitment to advancing the journey of progress and development pioneered by the Founding Fathers,” he added.

Bin Shafar further emphasised that the Flag Day is a cherished national occasion that embodies the true essence of loyalty and belonging. It serves as a reminder of the journey of unity and achievement led by the Founding Fathers, foremost among them the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace, who instilled in the people of the UAE the enduring values of loyalty, dedication, and service to the nation.
