Amidst a fervent display of national pride, Al Khaleej, Gulf Today newspapers and Kul Al Usra magazine of Dar Al Khaleej Printing & Publishing company celebrated Flag Day on Monday by raising the UAE flag on its headquarters in Sharjah. Flag Day is celebrated on 3 November each year. This act symbolised the newspaper's pride in, and loyalty to, the nation and its cherished symbol.
Official and public celebrations are held in the UAE on Flag Day. The national flag is raised and flown simultaneously above the headquarters of ministries and other official entities, and buildings of all types are adorned with it.
Flag Day is an annual national event at which UAE citizens and residents express their loyalty to the nation and its leadership, and their commitment to the values and principles passed down from the founding fathers.
