The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) predicted the formation of fog or light fog over coastal and inland areas from Thursday for the next four days. This is due to the country being affected by a weak surface low-pressure system from the east and a surface high pressure system from the west, accompanied by a weak upper-level low pressure system.
The NCM stated that it would be humid in some inland and coastal areas on Thursday morning, especially in the north, with light fog possible. The sky would be clear to partly cloudy, with southeasterly winds turning northwesterly at speeds of 10–20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h. The waves would be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
On Friday, the weather is expected to be humid in the morning in some inland and coastal areas, especially in the north. There is a possibility of fog or light mist forming. It will be clear to partly cloudy with southeasterly winds to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, reaching 10 to 20 km/h. The waves will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The Saturday's weather is expected to be humid in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of fog or mist. It will be clear to partly cloudy with light to moderate southeasterly winds, occasionally becoming brisk with speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h and reaching up to 35 km/h. These winds will then shift to northwesterly. The waves will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
