The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat revealed that approximately 72,000 people registered for the Hajj package for the upcoming 1447 AH/2026 AD season via the Authority's smart application and website before the registration period ended on Oct.9, 2025. All of these people wish to perform the obligatory Hajj.
The Authority has begun sorting and approving initial applications for this year's Hajj package, matching applicants with the required conditions.
Selection will be in accordance with Cabinet Resolution No. (32) of 2018 regarding the Hajj and Umrah system. The quota of pilgrims from the United Arab Emirates for the upcoming Hajj season is 6,228, allocated by the Saudi Arabian authorities responsible for Hajj affairs.
It has indicated that applicants who have received preliminary approval will be contacted via their registered phone numbers.
Those who receive the approval message are urged to adhere to the deadlines for completing the necessary procedures, in order to ensure that Hajj permits are issued within the approved timeframes.
The Authority has reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating and completing all procedures related to the affairs of the country's pilgrims well in advance of the season.
This provides a comfortable timeframe in which pilgrims and service providers can present their views and proposals on requirements in accordance with the high standards set out in the signed agreements.
