Sheikh Ahmed congratulates Al Khaleej on its 55th anniversary

On the occasion of Al Khaleej newspaper's 55th anniversary, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, congratulated the newspaper, saying: “We take pride in Al Khaleej, the Emirati media platform and a reliable Arab voice."

In a tweet on X, he said, “We congratulate Al Khaleej newspaper and its team on the occasion of its 55th anniversary. Since its first issue was published on October 19, 1970 by the late brothers Taryam and Abdullah Omran Taryam, may God have mercy on them.”

He added, "Al Khaleej has accompanied the stages of the establishment of the Union and the march of national development. It has recorded a distinguished presence in following Gulf, Arab and global developments over the decades, establishing its position as a media platform that we, the Emiratis, can be proud of, and as a sober Arab voice."
