The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected temperatures to drop slightly next Sunday as the country will be affected by an extension of a surface low-pressure system accompanied by a weak upper-level low.
The NCM also expects the Thursday's weather to be clear to partly cloudy, with occasional cloudiness in some areas. It will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of light fog.
Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h, and will blow from southeasterly to northeasterly. The waves will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The weather on Friday is expected to be generally clear to partly cloudy. It will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of fog or light mist, especially in the west.
The wind will blow from the southeast, shifting to the northwest, and will be light to moderate in speed, occasionally reaching speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally reaching 35 km/h. The waves will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
The Saturday's weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy, with some clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon. It will be humid at night and on Sunday morning over some coastal and inland areas, with the possibility of light fog forming.
Southeasterly to northwesterly, the winds will be light to moderate in speed, sometimes stronger, reaching speeds of between 10 and 25 km/h. The waves will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
According to the NCM, the weather on Sunday is expected to be humid in the morning over some coastal and inland areas, with the possibility of fog or light mist forming. It will be clear to partly cloudy in the afternoon, with the possibility of cumulus clouds forming in the east and south. There will be a slight drop in temperature and winds from the southeast to the northeast.
These will be light to moderate in speed and sometimes active, reaching speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally up to 35 km/h. The waves will be light to medium in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
