In coordination with the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the Ministry of Interior and several partners, the National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) is monitoring the weather forecast for the coming days. According to these forecasts, the country will experience unstable weather conditions from Friday until the middle of next week.
Cumulus cloud formations accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and active winds are expected in parts of the northern, eastern and western regions, as well as some inland areas. These may cause light objects to be blown away and reduce horizontal visibility due to the strong winds associated with cumulus clouds. Sea disturbances and high waves are also expected in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman as a result of the cumulus clouds.
The NCEMA has confirmed that all relevant authorities are fully prepared to deal with any developments. They are closely monitoring weather updates and coordinating continuously with federal and local authorities.
It is urging community members to follow bulletins and warnings issued by the National Centre of Meteorology via official channels. They have also urged people to avoid areas where water collects during rainfall and to take precautions to ensure public safety.
