Indian national working at a mobile shop in Ajman wins $1 million in Dubai Duty Free draw

The 260th Indian winner of $1 million was announced on Wednesday in the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw, held at Concourse C of Dubai International Airport.
Subhash Madam, a 48-year-old Indian national based in Ajman became a $1 million winner in Millennium Millionaire Series 517with ticket number 2550 which he purchased online on Sept.12.
A resident of Ajman for 14 years, Madam, who has been participating in the Dubai Duty Free promotion for 2 years now, is a father of one and works for a mobile shop in Sanaiya Industrial in Ajman.
“Thank you so much Dubai Duty Free! I will never forget this day!” he said.
Madam, who hails from Kerala, is the 260th Indian national to have won $1 million in the Millennium Millionaire promotion, with Indian nationals being by far the biggest purchasers of tickets.
Following the Millennium Millionaire draw, the Finest Surprise draw was conducted for two luxury vehicles.

Pietra Stephane, a French national based in France won a Land Rover Defender 110 V8 HSE P525 (Fuji White) car with ticket number 1485 in the Finest Surprise Series 1934 which he purchased online on 13th September.
Stephane, the 33rd French national to win a car is the Finest Surprise promotion since its inception in 1989, is currently uncontactable but will no doubt be delighted to learn of her win.
Meanwhile, Syed Suliman, a 31-year-old British national based in Dubai won an Indian 101 Sout (Suset Red Metallic) motorbike with ticket number 0543 in the Finest Surprise Series 638 which he purchased in Concourse B West on 17th September.
Suliman, a first-time ticket buyer of Turkish origin, works as the marketing head for an Emirati hub supporting homegrown businesses at Dubai Airport.
“Thank you Dubai Duty Free for the opportunity to win with my very first ticket in your amazing promotion. I can’t wait to ride this motorbike on the roads of Dubai!” he said.
Lastly, Kunchu Moideen Madakkan, a 52-year-old Indian national based in Dubai won a BMW S 1000 R (M Package) motorbike with ticket number 0970 in the Finest Surprise Series 639 which he purchased online on 18th September.
A regular participant in Dubai Duty Free's promotion for 6 years now, Madakkan is a father of three and works as tailor in Dubai.
“Finally, after long time, I’ve won with Dubai Duty Free! Thank you so much!” he said.
