Now, visitors can once again witness a stunning spectacle of water, music and light as The Dubai Fountain reopened on Wednesday (Oct.1, 2025).
The world's tallest performing fountain, developed by Emaar and located in the heart of Downtown Dubai, is one of the city's top tourist attractions, offering a captivating and free experience that's suitable for the whole family.
Submerged within the 30-acre Burj Lake, at the foot of Dubai Mall, powerful water jets are laid out over an area the length of two football pitches.
The fountain jets up to 22,000 gallons of water as high as 140m in the air at any one time, making it a must-see for Dubai sightseeing.
New show timings
The fountains come to life every 30 minutes from 6pm until 11pm daily. You can also catch afternoon shows at 1pm and 1:30pm from Saturday to Thursday, and at 2pm and 2:30pm on Fridays. The colourful, illuminated jets sway in time to a range of melodies, which will leave you spellbound.
What to expect with The Dubai Fountain reopening
Following a five-month renovation, The Dubai Fountain has received a major new upgrade with brand new blue tiles giving the lake a stunning new glow.
Looking ahead, phase two of the project is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026, bringing enhanced lighting, sound and water effects that promise an even more entrancing experience.
