The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected temperatures to drop slightly on Tuesday, when the country will be affected by a weak surface low-pressure system extending from the east and an upper-atmospheric high-pressure system.
The centre stated that maximum temperatures will range between 29 and 43°C and minimum temperatures between 20 and 31°C. It noted that (Monday) will be clear to partly cloudy with humidity increasing at night and on Tuesday morning in some inland and coastal areas, where there is a chance of light fog forming. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally stronger at sea, causing dust. Wind speeds will range from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 40 km/h. The Arabian Gulf will be moderate to rough and the Sea of Oman will be light.
On Tuesday, the weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with low clouds appearing in the east and a gradual drop in temperatures. It will be humid overnight and on Wednesday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of light fog. Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate in speed and sometimes active during the day, reaching speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally up to 40 km/h. The sea will have light to medium waves, sometimes becoming rough in the Arabian Gulf and having light waves in the Sea of Oman.
Regarding Wednesday’s weather, the NCM has expected it to be clear to partly cloudy with high humidity overnight and on Thursday morning over some coastal and inland areas, with a possibility of light fog forming. Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly and light to moderate in speed, occasionally stronger, reaching speeds of between 10 and 25 km/h and occasionally reaching 40 km/h. The sea will be moderately wavy, occasionally rough in the Arabian Gulf and calm in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM indicated that Thursday will be clear to partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at night in some areas. It will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a possibility of light fog forming. Winds will be northwesterly to southwesterly, ranging from light to moderate in speed and sometimes active. Wind speeds will range from 10 to 25 km/h, reaching 40 km/h. The sea will have light to medium waves, sometimes rough in the west of the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
