Dubai International Airport (DXB) turned into a hub of celebration as the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai joined the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in marking its 95th National Day.
Terminal 1 was adorned in green—the color of the Saudi flag—creating a festive atmosphere that reflected the unity and deep-rooted ties between the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia for its 95th National Day. The gesture underscored the shared values, history, and brotherhood that bind the two nations.
Arriving Saudi guests were greeted with warmth and hospitality as GDRFA officers handed out national flags and commemorative gifts. Families and children were delighted by the presence of mascots Salem and Salama, who added cheer to the occasion with their friendly interactions.

To make the day even more memorable, travelers enjoyed activities such as an instant photo booth where they could capture keepsake moments of their journey. A special passport stamp, designed exclusively for the celebration, was also offered to arriving passengers as a unique reminder of the milestone anniversary.
Officials emphasized that the initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to honoring its close fraternal relationship with Saudi Arabia. The UAE has consistently joined the Kingdom in celebrating its Saudi National Day, recognizing the occasion as a symbol of regional unity, mutual respect, and a shared vision for the future.
The event at Dubai International Airport highlighted not only the importance of cultural celebration but also the spirit of solidarity that continues to strengthen ties between the two neighboring countries.
On the other hand, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, have sent messages of congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the Kingdom's 95th National Day.
The UAE leaders also dispatched similar messages to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion.
