UAE weather body predicts drop in temperature

The weather on Friday is expected to be clear to partly cloudy with clouds, possibly cumulus, appearing in the east in the afternoon and a gradual drop in temperature, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather, however, will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some western areas with a chance of light fog.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds will flow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman.

Saturday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy with clouds, possibly cumulus, appearing in the east in the afternoon, but will be humid at night and on Sunday morning in some western areas.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves but may become rough on Sunday morning in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman.

Sunday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times in some eastern and southern areas with a chance of rains.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will be rough but will subsequently have moderate to regular waves in the Arabian Gulf compared to regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman.

Monday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy and cloudy at times in some eastern and southern areas. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
