UAE arrests drug trafficker and hands him over to Dutch authorities

The UAE Ministry of Interior handed over a man wanted to authorities in the Kingdom of the Netherlands after he had been arrested by Dubai Police based on a red notice issued by the Interpol.
The man faces charges of drug trafficking, money laundering and involvement in criminal activities. The extradition followed a court ruling and a decision by the Ministry of Justice, affirming the country’s commitment to international legal procedures.
The Ministry of Interior underlined the importance of international co-operation in combating transcontinental crime and preserving the security of societies.
