New school year brings energy and excitement in the UAE, says Sheikh Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, marked the beginning of the new academic year in the country via the X platform, saying "Tomorrow, the new academic year in the UAE will begin with over one million students."

Sheikh Mohammed further said, "The advent of new beginnings fosters optimism, goodness, and hope. The commencement of the academic year is characterised by a sense of energy and momentum, as well as movement and dynamism nationwide."

Sheikh Mohammed also went on to state, "I want to tell our children that each day of schooling represents an opportunity for the acquisition of new knowledge, the attainment of new competencies, the advancement of one's intellectual and personal capabilities, and the progression towards one's objectives."

He further said, "It is asserted that educators are the cornerstone of our renaissance and the agents of change in our schools. It is not the intention of this institution to provide an education that merely provides students with a plethora of facts and information. Rather, the objective is to stimulate students' curiosity, ignite their ambition, and kindle their passion for knowledge."

Sheikh Mohammed furthermore expressed his hope that the UAE will continue to enjoy uninterrupted success, and that all students, teaching staff and the educational field will enjoy a year that is both more beautiful and more successful, God willing."
