The UAE has strongly condemned and denounced the new Israeli settlement plan in the occupied West Bank and the continuation of large-scale military operations in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement that these practices constitute serious violations of international law and relevant international legitimacy resolutions, and seriously undermine regional and international efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. It warned of the disastrous consequences of the continued aggression, including the escalation of human suffering and the threat to the security and stability of the region.
The UAE reiterated its demand for an immediate halt to settlement activity and military operations, and called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in halting these violations and working to launch a serious political process leading to a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace, based on international legitimacy resolutions.
Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, said on X, “With the United Nations officially declaring a famine in Gaza, and its humanitarian chief calling it a ‘moment of collective shame’ for the international community, history will record that the UAE stood tall in its humanity and generosity, with a serious commitment that accounted for 42% of all international aid to alleviate this tragedy.
“Our humanitarian and political commitments to the Palestinian people, their just cause, and their suffering remain steadfast and firmly rooted in our Arab affiliation and our humanitarian conscience.”
