Sheikh Sultan pledges to support those who cannot pay alimony

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, pledged support to those unable to pay alimony, saying, “If they cannot afford it, I am responsible.”
Sheikh Sultan’s statement came in response to an Emirati woman who demanded that whoever fails to pay alimony be imprisoned.
