Saudi King issues royal decrees to relieve Defense Minister, 2 senior officials of duties

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz ordered the dismissal of Assistant Defense Minister Talal bin Abdullah bin Turki Al-Otaibi.

A Royal Court statement on Sunday stated that, after reviewing the Basic Law of Governance, the Law of Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and Employees of the Excellent Rank, Assistant Defense Minister Talal Bin Abdullah Bin Turki Al-Otaibi was dismissed from his post.

A separate statement also stated that the head of the General Organization for Military Industries in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Madi, was dismissed from his post.

In a third statement, the Royal Court announced the dismissal of Ghassan bin Abdulrahman Al-Shibl, advisor to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
