Ajman bans use of scooters on public roads and streets

Ajman Police announced a ban on the use of all types of electric scooters on public roads and streets, as part of their efforts to enhance traffic safety and reduce accidents resulting from the unsafe use of these devices. 

The decision to ban the use of scooters comes two days after Ajman Police banned the use of bicycles of all types on public roads and streets, reiterating that their use should be limited to designated areas. Ajman Police called on everyone to abide by the issued instructions to maintain public safety. 

This comes as Ajman Police prepare to secure the start of the new academic year as part of their efforts to enhance safety around schools and ensure smooth traffic flow on the roads, providing a safe environment for students from the first school day.
