VIDEO: Elderly Gazan thanks Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed for his support

In a video clip shared by the 'Gallant Knight 3' account on the 'X' platform, an elderly Gazan expressed his gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saying: " I would like to thank His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, for his ongoing support of the people of Gaza."

Operation Knight 3 intervened to provide support to an elderly man from the Gaza Strip who was suffering from the health effects of famine. The necessary aid was provided to alleviate his suffering amid the harshness of hunger and deteriorating health.

In alignment with its commitment to providing assistance to Gaza, the UAE has successfully executed its 66th airdrop of humanitarian aid over the Gaza Strip. This operation, designated "Birds of Goodness," is a component of the broader "Gallant Knight 3" initiative. The airdrop was conducted in cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and with the participation of Germany, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Italy.

The participating aircrafts carried food and humanitarian aid, which was intended to be dropped in areas that are difficult to reach by land. This was an attempt to provide urgent support to affected families in the Gaza Strip.

This brings the total amount of aid delivered to more than 3,873 tonnes, clearly demonstrating the UAE's ongoing commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and strengthening international humanitarian efforts.

The UAE has confirmed that it will continue to work with its regional and international partners to ensure the rapid and effective delivery of aid and to meet the needs of the population amid the challenging conditions in the Gaza Strip.
