A delegation from Ras Al Khaimah Police visited the policeman Abdullah Rashid Al Dallahi Al Shehhi, a patrol driver at the Traffic and Patrols Branch of Shamm Police Station, to check on his health after he was involved in a traffic accident after which he was hospitalised for necessary treatment.
The humanitarian gesture aimed to bring him joy and boost his morale.
The visiting delegation, led by Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Awadi, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, accompanied by Captain Ali Al Maziyood Al Shehhi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Branch at Shamm Police Station, and Captain Ali Ahmed Al Alkim, Director of the Retirees and Events Branch at the Media and Public Relations Department, conveyed the heartfelt wishes of the Commander-in-Chief, his Deputy, and all members of the RAK Police for a speedy recovery.
They expressed hope that he would return to his duty in full health and wellness.
Recently, Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command launched a public awareness campaign titled “Beware of Cybercrime,” in collaboration with its strategic partner, Ras Al Khaimah Broadcasting Authority, to address online scams.
Launched as a joint effort through the Media and Public Relations Department and the Department of Criminal Investigations at RAK Police, the campaign aims to address cybercrime by fostering cooperation between police officers and the public in Ras Al Khaimah to help identify fraudsters and potential scams. The effort is in line with the UAE Ministry of Interior’s mission to enhance quality of life for all through smart, proactive and innovative services.
