Heavy and light rains fell across different regions of the UAE on Friday, including Al-Bithnah-Al-Farfar road in Fujairah, Dubai-Al Ain road, and Al-Hayer road, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), which indicated that rains are expected to continue until Sunday in the eastern and southern areas.
The NCM forecasts that Saturday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy, with a chance of cumulus cloud formation in the east and south, potentially leading to rainfall.
It will be humid on Saturday night and on Sunday morning in some coastal and western inland areas, with a possibility of fog or light fog formation.
Winds, according to the NCM, will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally active and stirring dust during the day, wind speeds ranging from 10 to 25 km/h, amounting to 40 km/h.
The sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and light to moderate at times in the Sea of Oman.
The NCM pointed out that this weather condition is due to the Impact of an extension of a weak surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by an upper-air high-pressure system.
