The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has expected formation of cumulus clouds with the possibility of rain over a four-day period from Thursday to Sunday. Humid conditions are expected in certain coastal and inland regions as the nation experiences the effects of an extension of a surface low-pressure system from the east, accompanied by a weak upper-atmospheric low-pressure system.
The NCM also expects Thursday's weather to be clear to partly cloudy, with the possibility of cumulus clouds forming in the east, which may be accompanied by rain. It will be humid during the night and Friday morning along some coastal and inland areas, with the possibility of light fog forming in the west. Winds will be southeasterly, changing to northwesterly and northeasterly, with speeds of 10 to 25 km/h and occasionally gusting to 40 km/h. The waves will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
On Friday, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy with dusty conditions at times. There is a chance of cumulus clouds forming in the east, accompanied by rain. Temperatures will rise, and it will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal areas. There is a possibility of light fog forming in the west. Winds will be southeasterly to the northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, sometimes active during the day and causing dust. The waves will be mild in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
