Sultan approves Dhs335 million for critical cases of housing support beneficiaries

 His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved a new batch of housing support beneficiaries in the emirate. Allocated to critical cases, the aid is budgeted at Dhs335 million and will benefit 431 families.

 During an interview with the Direct Line programme, Khalid Bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of Sharjah Department of Housing, stated that among the families benefiting from the decision are 133 families living in rented accommodation, 201 families living in overcrowded housing with relatives, 61 families living in housing for heirs and 36 families living in old and structurally unsound housing.

 The beneficiaries will be granted ready-made government housing, he added.
