Ajman Police’s Masfout Comprehensive Police Station hosted an African female tourist, whose vehicle broke down while crossing the area on her way to the Sultanate of Oman.
According to Major Abdul Rahman Al Kaabi, head of the station, the operations room received a report of a vehicle breakdown on Al Watan Street.
The nearest patrol rushed to the location, where the tourist Vergenie Carelty Kiongmo was found to be passing through the area during her road trip.
The vehicle was taken to the nearest auto repair shop, where the technician stated that the repair would take a full day, he said.
Due to the late hour and the lack of rooms at the local hotel, the station hosted the tourist in its guest lounge and provided her with all necessary amenities and meals until the following day until her vehicle was fully repaired, he added.
He stressed that Ajman Police is committed to strengthening its social role by embodying the values of humanity and tolerance and providing assistance to all those in need, thus enhancing the emirate’s status as a safe and welcoming environment for residents and visitors of all nationalities.
Meanwhile, the tourist expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome and attention she received, stressing that this humanitarian initiative reflected a bright image of the UAE’s generous hospitality and the noble spirit of its police officers toward everyone without exception.
