The National Guard Command announced that the National Ambulance service executed more than 47,000 emergency missions during the first half of 2025, reinforcing its critical role in the country’s emergency response and healthcare system.
According to official statistics, ambulance teams responded to 47,269 emergency cases in the Northern Emirates, including traffic accidents, medical emergencies, and various injuries.
Immediate care and on-site treatment were provided to over 19,400 cases, while more than 27,800 individuals were transported to hospitals for specialised medical care.
The National Ambulance continues to provide its vital services 24/7 through the emergency number 998, as part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing community safety and improving the efficiency of the national emergency response system.
