Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated "Sana" Solar Power Plant, the first of its kind in Sharjah.
The plant has a capacity to power 13,780 homes and will reduce 66,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

Sheikh Sultan stated, "Today, we inaugurated 'Sana' Solar Power Plant, the first in Sharjah capable of powering 13,780 homes and reducing 66,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually”.
He added, "This achievement represents a qualitative shift in our journey toward clean energy and is a step we are proud of toward a more sustainable future”.
