The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), under the Department of Municipalities and Transport, has issued a warning emphasising that all providers of vehicle valet services in Abu Dhabi must obtain official licences from the ITC before operating.
Offering such services without a licence or misusing granted permits is considered a violation of regulations and will result in legal consequences.
The ITC’s field inspection teams are conducting regular monitoring campaigns at valet service locations to ensure compliance with standards, maintain an organised and safe service environment, and uphold Abu Dhabi’s quality of life benchmarks.
The Centre urged relevant entities, including hotels, shopping centres, and service operators, to review their legal status and verify the validity of their permits.
It also advised the public to use only licensed valet services to protect their rights and vehicle safety. Reports of illegal practices or violations in valet services can be submitted through official channels as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight, regulate services, preserve the emirate’s urban appearance, enhance service quality, ensure legislative compliance, and provide a safe, integrated transportation environment that improves traffic flow.
