Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Al Kathiri, representative of Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, stated that installing "Hassantuk " smart fire detection and alarm system is a community responsibility for homeowners.
He emphasised that UAE legislation mandates its installation and maintenance, with penalties for non-compliance.
Violators, according to Al Kathiri will first receive a warning and a grace period to rectify the issue. If non-compliance persists after the deadline, a fine of Dhs1,000 will be imposed.
It is worth noting that the system aims to enhance fire safety and rapid response in residential buildings, aligning with national safety standards. Homeowners are urged to comply with regulations to avoid penalties and ensure the safety of their properties and occupants.
