Etihad Airways declared the rerouting of a number of its flights on June 23 and 24 due to airspace closures in parts of the Middle East.
The airline issued a statement to this effect, saying, "We are conducting continuous monitoring of the situation in the region and maintaining close communication with the relevant authorities regarding developments."
It was requested that guests check the status of their flights on the airline's website.
It was emphasised that the company's operations were confined to designated airspaces that had been approved for such activities, and that the safety of guests and crew members was of paramount importance.
The airline will only operate flights if the conditions are deemed to be safe for air travel.
Guests wishing to change their travel arrangements are advised to contact the Etihad Airways Customer Service Centre.
The website provides local phone numbers, live chat and social media accounts, or guests can contact their travel agents.
