Sergeant Amna Rashid Al Blooshi, a Security Patrol Leader in the General Department of Organization Protective Security and Emergency at Dubai Police, is a shining example of commitment, discipline, and professional excellence. Balancing her role as a mother of seven, including three triplets, she has achieved an impeccable record with zero traffic accidents while driving the police patrol daily or her personal vehicle.
This outstanding achievement has earned Amna recognition as the only woman honored in the seventh edition of the ‘Safe Driving Stars’ initiative, alongside 65 fellow officers and employees.
The ‘Safe Driving Stars’ initiative, organized by the General Department of Transport and Rescue in collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim - Genesis and Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company, aims to recognize outstanding drivers within Dubai Police who have maintained a record free of accidents and traffic violations.
Amna Al Blooshi was honored for her exceptional achievement in maintaining a perfect record free of accidents or traffic violations during her four years as a security patrol leader in the Bur Dubai area, showcasing her exceptional driving skills and commitment.
She stood out as the only woman among the honorees of the ‘Dubai Police Patrol and Vehicle Driving Award’, an accolade often dominated by men due to its strict requirements, the high level of adherence necessary to traffic rules, and the precision required to navigate various road conditions.
Al Blooshi stated, "Thanks to God that since I began driving the security patrol in the Bur Dubai area, and with the trust of my superiors, I have maintained a clean driving record without a single traffic accident. This achievement stems from continuous training and my passion for driving and field police work."

Al Blooshi has loved her role as a police patrol leader, driven by her passion for driving and the positive feedback she receives from community members. She often observes the delight on people's faces when they see a woman driving a patrol and addressing their reports during her daily interactions and fieldwork.

Every day, Al Blooshi begins her work by heading to the office to collect the security patrol before proceeding to the jurisdiction area in Bur Dubai. She noted, "Working with Dubai Police makes me feel that I am serving my country and the community, which brings me immense joy, especially since my role is field-based and involves close interactions with people."

Al Blooshi is a devoted mother of seven, including three triplets, whose ages range from 2 to 17. She has successfully balanced her professional and family life, creating harmony between both. She said, "I take care of my family, and when I get home, I focus on preparing meals, helping my children with their studies, and managing their school needs and academic progress. I take pride in my work with Dubai Police and my responsibilities as a mother."
It’s worth mentioning that Amna Al Blooshi joined the Dubai Police in 2007, working in the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency. Since then, she has set a remarkable standard of commitment and discipline, leading her superior to nominate her to compete in the "Safe Driving Stars" award.
