Rehabilitation workshop students honoured

Students who performed well at the Vocational Rehabilitation Programmes and Workshops of Rashid Center for People of Determination have been honoured in a ceremony.

The honouring ceremony was attended by Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council and guests from different fields besides patrons of the rehabilitation programme. The outstanding students, who demonstrated profound excellence through their participation and acquired skills within the workshops, amid an atmosphere of pride and mutual support.

Saeed Hareb expressed his deep admiration for the level of services the centre provides to people of determination, praising the quality of the production and training provided by the workshops.

He emphasised that these initiatives represent an inspiring model of giving and comprehensive development.

Maryam Othman, Director General of the Rashid Center, extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to all the supporters and sponsors who played a prominent role in developing the workshops and training the students. She stressed that community partnerships play a significant role in achieving our noble mission and empowering people of determination for a brighter future.

The Rashid Center continues its commitment to providing advanced training programmes that contribute to developing students’ personal and professional skills, enhancing their integration into society and providing them with real practical opportunities. During the ceremony, the workshop sponsors were also honored in recognition of their vital role in enabling the center to continue providing its specialised services with high quality.

The honorees included the family of the late Obaid Al Helou, the Al Jaid family, and the Classic Home Decor Group, along with a number of institutions and individuals who contributed their efforts to support and develop the workshops.
