UAE evacuates citizens, residents from Iran

The UAE has successfully evacuated several of its citizens and residents who were in the Islamic Republic of Iran, in coordination with relevant authorities.

As part of its ongoing commitment to the safety of its citizens and residents and its swift response to emergencies, the UAE successfully carried out the evacuation operations with facilitation and coordination from the Iranian side, ensuring their safe return to the UAE.

The UAE is also engaged in intensive diplomatic consultations with concerned parties and strategic partners, focusing on de-escalation efforts to promote calm and stability in the region.

These efforts stem from the UAE’s commitment to prioritising diplomacy and dialogue as the only means to achieve security and stability, within a comprehensive framework which ensures stability, justice, and prosperity for the peoples of the region.
