Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security has decided to exempt Iranian nationals residing in the UAE from fines incurred as a result of their late departure from the country, whether they are residents or arriving in the UAE on any type of entry visa.
This measure comes in response to the exceptional circumstances facing the region and to provide relief for this group of people who have been unable to return to their homeland due to the closure of airspace and the suspension of flights.
While the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security affirms its commitment to respecting the humanitarian dimension and providing full support to residents and visitors to the UAE, it invites those covered by this exemption to register through the smart services platform or visit customer happiness centers across the country.
