Flydubai has announced the temporary suspension of flights to and from Iran, Iraq, Israel, and Syria until 30 June. This decision has been made in light of the closure of certain air corridors in the region.
In an official statement, the airline said that passengers who were scheduled to travel via Dubai to the aforementioned destinations will not be permitted to travel from their point of departure until further notice. Affected passengers were urged to review their rebooking options on the company's website or to contact their authorized travel agents.
Flydubai emphasised the significance of updating contact information via the "Manage Booking" to ensure the timely dissemination of notifications regarding flight status. It was also recommended to passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport that they consult their flight status on the website of the airline concerned.
The airline has indicated that there may be alterations to the schedules or routes of certain other flights. The company has confirmed that it continues to closely monitor developments in this matter, apologising to affected passengers. Furthermore, the company emphasised that the safety of passengers and crew remains its top priority.
