Emirates has announced the temporary suspension of all flights to Jordan (Amman) and Lebanon (Beirut) until Sunday, June 22, 2025, in addition to the suspension of flights to Iran (Tehran) and Iraq (Baghdad and Basra) until Monday, June 30, 2025, due to the current regional situation.
The airline has confirmed that passengers with connections via Dubai to destinations which have been suspended, or those travelling via flydubai to the same destinations, will not be permitted to travel from their point of departure until further notice.
Emirates has issued a recommendation to affected passengers that they contact their travel agents in order to rebook or, alternatively, contact the airline directly if they have made their booking with the company. Furthermore, passengers departing or arriving via Dubai International Airport were advised to check their flight status on emirates.com for the latest updates.
The airline has reaffirmed its commitment to passenger safety, as well as the safety of its employees, and to the smooth running of its operations. It has stated that it is closely monitoring the situation, and it apologises for any inconvenience that this temporary measure may cause.
