Temperatures have reached a high of 50.1ºC in Al Ain area of Sweihan at 12:30 UAE local time, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said on Friday.
Earlier in the morning, the lowest temperature was recorded at 21.8°C in Barakah 2 (Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi) at 06:00 UAE local time.
The (NCM has predicted the formation of light fog in some coastal and inland areas on Monday and Tuesday, due to weak surface pressure systems affecting the country, accompanied by an upper-air high-pressure system.
The NCM stated that maximum temperatures will range between 35°C and 47°C, while minimum temperatures will range between 22°C and 29°C.
Saturday’s weather is expected to be generally clear, with clouds appearing in the east during the afternoon, and it will be humid in some coastal areas at night and early on Sunday morning.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, at speeds of 10–20 km/h, amounting to 30 km/h and the waves will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Tuesday’s weather is reported to be generally clear, with clouds appearing in the east at night and early on Wednesday morning but humid, with a chance of light fog in some coastal and inland areas.
Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally active during the day, at speeds of 10–25 km/h, amounting to 35 km/h and the waves will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
