Sharjah Airport has begun welcoming the first groups of pilgrims returning from the Holy Land after performing Hajj in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The arrivals were met with an atmosphere filled with warmth and spirituality, supported by comprehensive services designed to ease every stage of their return journey and ensure their comfort and safety.
This comes as part of a comprehensive operational plan developed in advance by Sharjah Airport Authority in coordination with all strategic partners, aimed at ensuring maximum efficiency and smooth passenger flow.
Airport staff welcomed the returning pilgrims with flowers and traditional Emirati hospitality, creating a heartfelt and friendly environment.
Many pilgrims expressed their deep gratitude for the warm reception and the seamless procedures at Sharjah Airport, emphasising that the services provided — from the moment of landing to their exit from the airport — reflected a strong commitment to their well-being and created a sense of peace and belonging after their blessed spiritual journey.
This welcome reflects the continued development of Sharjah Airport’s service ecosystem, the flexibility of its infrastructure, and the professionalism of its workforce — demonstrating its capability to efficiently manage high-volume seasonal traffic and reinforcing its position as a leading hub for regional and international travel.
