Sultan issues decree to dissolve SCC

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah has issued an Amiri Decree on Wednesday, dissolving the second regular session of the 11th legislative term of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), effective as of Thursday, June 19, 2025.
Separately, Sheikh Sultan issued an Amiri Decree regarding the promotion of officers in the General Command of the Amiri Guard.
The promotion included 8 officers to the higher ranks, effective from the date of eligibility.
