The Sharjah Municipality has announced that public parking will be free across the emirate for three days during the Eid Al Adha holidays, from Friday, June 6, to Sunday, June 8, 2025. The initiative is intended to ease mobility and reduce costs for residents and visitors celebrating the festive occasion.
However, the municipality clarified that this exemption does not apply to the seven-day paid parking zones, which remain operational throughout the week, including public holidays. These areas are clearly marked with blue information signs, and users are advised to comply with payment rules to avoid penalties.
In a related announcement, all medical fitness centres in Sharjah will be closed from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, in observance of the holiday. Regular services will resume on Monday, June 9.
Residents and visitors are urged to follow posted parking regulations and stay updated through official channels to avoid violations during the holiday period.
