Sharjah Civil Defence fighting fire at Al Hamriyah port, warns against sharing videos of it

Sharjah Civil Defence Authority, Sharjah Police and National Guard are carrying out firefighting and control operations after a fire broke out on Saturday morning in flammable materials at Al Hamriyah Port, following a swift response in cooperation with the competent authorities at the Port Authority.

Sharjah Police General Headquarters stated on its Facebook page that the police, the National Guard and Civil Defence are following the extinguishing operations on the ground and will provide updates.

The General Command of Sharjah Police called on the public to obtain information about Al Hamriyah Port fire only from official sources and to follow the command’s official communication channels. In a statement posted on their "X" account, the police urged the public not to share any images, videos, or spread rumours related to the fire to avoid legal consequences.
