Emirati student wins first place in chemistry worldwide

Student Saif Hassan Karam from Sharjah Model Secondary School won first place in the chemistry category at the International Science and Engineering Fair ISEF 2025, held in the United States.

Congratulating Saif on his win, Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education, tweeted via the X platform: “We congratulate Saif Hassan Karam, a student from Sharjah Model Secondary School, on winning first place in the chemistry category at the International Science and Engineering Fair ISEF 2025, held in the United States."

"This win is an honorable scientific and national achievement and a culmination of Saif’s determination, excellence and dedication to his studies. We are proud of him and his well-deserved success,” said the minister.
