Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) has issued an administrative closure order against ZAIQA Restaurant and Grill in Al Dana area, Abu Dhabi, holding commercial licence (CN-5255566).
The decision was made due to violations of Law No.2 of 2008 concerning food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its associated regulations, as well as for posing a risk to public health.
ADAFSA explained that the food control report indicated the administrative closure resulted from repeated food safety violations and the failure to implement effective corrective measures.
This necessitated immediate action to ensure food safety and consumer health. The authority emphasised that the closure order will remain in effect until the violations are rectified.
The establishment may resume operations only after fully addressing all issues and complying with food safety requirements.
ADAFSA urged the public to report any observed violations in food establishments or suspicions about food products by calling the toll-free Abu Dhabi Government number: 800555 so that inspectors will take the necessary actions.
