Fire guts spare parts warehouse in Sharjah

Civil Defence teams in Sharjah successfully controlled a fire which broke out in a vehicle spare parts warehouse in the industrial area on Thursday morning, with no injuries reported.

At 10:31am on Thursday, the General Directorate of Civil Defence's operations room received a report of a fire in a vehicle spare parts warehouse in Industrial Area 6.

Civil Defence vehicles promptly headed to the scene.

Upon arrival, the teams instantly began evacuation procedures and professionally tackled the fire, preventing the flames from spreading to nearby warehouses.

The fire was fully contained in record time, and no injuries were reported.

The Civil Defence teams completed cooling operations at the site to prevent any potential reignition of the flames, in preparation for handing over the location to the forensic laboratory to determine the cause of the fire.
