UAE leaders congratulate new German Chancellor

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to Friedrich Merz on assuming office as the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent similar messages to Friedrich Merz.

Recently, Merz vowed to be a “very European” leader, with the continent’s other countries hopeful Germany will take on a greater international role during his term.
