A Salali goat was sold for Dhs70,000 at the Al Manei Auction in Ras Al Khaimah on Friday.
The goat, a breed widely raised in the UAE and the Gulf region, originated in Oman and is distinguished by its beautiful appearance, small structure, straight head and erected ears, its curled tail, and its circular patterns of various sizes, along with its well-proportioned build.
Salali goats are distinctive to Salalah region in Oman, they are small. Their meat is tender and juicy.
